Five Ten Canyoneer 3 review

Five ten Canyoneer 3 review

In previous years I have been using the Canyoneer 2. Since the new model has come on the market I decided to go for it.

I have been using them allmost every day for about two months now. They were on my feet for about 40-50 times.

As soon you will step into them you will start to feel the comfort and stiffness at the same time. For even better comfort in the shoe I recomend to wear neoprene socks.

Because of the new lace sistem, puting them on and off is extremely easy (much better than Canyoneer 2). Once you tie up the laces they are well hidden on the outside of the shoe. The leftover of the laces you can hide in a small pocket designed especialy for that.

Canyoneer 3 is one of the most stabile shoes for walking off the beaten track, canyons, forests, etc.

You will find very good support on your anckles and with the new reinforced heel you won't even know that you are walking over rocks, holes,...

5 10 also made a very good upgrade on the front part of the shoe. They made it more rigid. That way your toes will stay safer at all times.

Everybody that has been using 5 10 shoes in the past will know that with the stealth rubber you will get the best grip in dry and wet conditions on the market.

Because of the mash on the upper part of the shoe the water won't stay in the shoe but it will go out as fast as it came in.

I have found only one down side of the shoe. If you walk on sandy river beads there is a little bit of sand comming into the shoe.

In general, if you spend a lot of time in water or canyons you won't find a better friend for your feet.
