I, life, philosophy
Before I
even now what I want, white age of 9, I start me kayak journey in a local kayak
club (KKSE) in Solkan, Slovenia. At the time the only thing that I now about
kayaking was racing on slalom competitions. After a few successful seasons, few
national titles and a european championship, pressure from national federation
began to grow. It was time to make a decision! My sturdy character and desire
for »free paddling« was much bigger and it took my on a first kayak trip to
Corsica. The page that I turned has become my love and passion, my life.
Rivers, nature and friends that I had discovered that spring of 2001, made end
of my slalom days!
Now 200+
rivers later, nothing has changed, passion is still very intensive, out there
is still a lot of rivers to paddle and no reason to stop. After saw many years
of searching and pushing, I am asking me self where is the limit and why I am still
motivated, how come that after a decade of creeking I`m more and more motivated.
Probably the ticket that I have got on the first trip was just one way, the way
to the river!
